Ths exam for midwives WAS WRITTEN from Tuesday 9th to Friday 12th September 2025.
Next Midwifery NMCN CBT exam will hold in March 2026.
Therefore the next licence exam is March 2026.
2026 NMCN MARCH EXAM STRUCTURE
The examination format remains unchanged
- The CBT consists of 250 multiple choice questions, covering Papers 1 to 3.
- Duration is 3 hours, and the exam is fully computer based.
- Paper 4, which is the OSCE, also remains the same and includes
- 3 procedure/oral stations 3 question stations delivered via computer
- This makes a total of 6 OSCE stations.
- In addition, the VIVA continues to be conducted and is considered an integral part of the OSCE.
WHAT TO DO WHILE PREPARING FOR 2026 NMCN MARCH EXAM
- You must be strong in Multiple choice question.
- Memorize definitions, symptoms, management steps, nursing procedures as many as you can, etc.
- Practice time
- Don’t ignore clinical skills and nursing interventions
- Focus on breadth
- Expect questions from all topics in the curriculum.
- Use past questions plus mock CBT practice, which helps you get used to format, pacing, and saving time under pressure.
