Advertisement for Admission into Post Basic Nursing Programs for 2024/2025 Academic Session.

Application are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission in the 2024/2025 academic session into the following Post Basic Nursing Programs:

• Perioperative Nursing
• Accident or Emergency Nursing

The Post Basic Nursing is a two-semester specialized training that is designed to equip Registered Nurses (RN) with theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for effective, safe, and evidence- based nursing practice.

Admissions Requirements: Applicant Must:

• Be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current practicing license obtained from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
• Have at least five (5) credit passes in basic science courses including English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology from NECO, WAEC, or NABTEB O’Level Examination. A combination of WAEC and NECO to meet the requirements is acceptable.
• Have at least one (1) year post-qualification experience preferably in an acute care setting.
• Have approval for release by his/her employer for the full-time requirement of the course.

Method Of Application

Forms are obtainable from the office of various program coordinators, Mobiddo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola as of 3rd June 2024, upon presentation of payment receipt of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) only into the Hospital’s Treasury Single Account via REMITA in respect of Nursing Specialty Training.

Closing Date

Sales and submission of forms close on Tuesday 16th, July 2024. The Aptitude Test will be held on 17th July 2024. While Oral Interviews will be conducted on the 18th and 19th of July, 2024.
