A 21-year-old Nurse, Akayi Ruth Amos, from Nasarawa State has won Miss Golden Queen 2024 organized by award-winning Bella’s Beauty Palace.
Miss Akayi, a resident of Kuje in the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) defeated three other contestants to win the coveted Miss Golden Queen crown.
She was announced winner at the grand finale of the pageantry, a stage contest held on Saturday January 27 at Amanda Hotel and Garden, Akwanga.
A 23-year-old student of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi(NSUK), Precious Mike emerged as first runner-up of the event with ₦30,000 as cash prize and lots of other gift items worth thousands of naira.
Speaking shortly after the event, Queen Tonze Bako Blessing, the Executive Director of Bella’s Beauty Palace, said the contest was birthed in 2022 in order to redefine pageantry for greater service to humanity.
Miss Tonze, a 25-year-old professional model revealed that this year’s contest was the second edition of the Miss Golden Queen pageantry.
She also revealed that the maiden edition of the Miss Golden Queen pageantry was held online in 2022 with Miss Blessing Danladi, a graduate of the NACABS Polytechnic, Akwanga emerging winner.
