An Exciting PhD scholarship opportunity!
A fully-funded PhD position is available for the exciting topic of “Transforming industrial waste into eco-friendly circular construction materials, paving the way for a greener and sustainable future”. The project will involve working closing with industry bodies to develop a novel product that will be commercialised. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of supervisors who have multiple experiences in material characterisation, construction, civil and environmental engineering.
Victoria University has world class testing laboratories and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to obtain valuable industry exposure during the candidature. We strongly encourage women to apply.
Eligibility criteria:
(1) Hold a relevant Australian First Class Bachelor (Honours) degree or Equivalent or a relevant Masters (by research) degree
(2) Open ONLY to Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents
(3) Background in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering
(4) Strong communication and interpretation skills
(5) Enthusiastic and highly motivated to undertake further study at an advanced level
(6) Have an understanding of sustainable construction materials
