Advertisement for online sales of admission form into Post Basic Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing Program for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Applicants are hereby invited from suitable and qualified female candidates for Post Basic Higher National Diploma (HND) in the Nursing program of the Gombe State School of Nursing Sciences popularly known as the College of Nursing and Midwifery for admission into the 2024/2025 academic session. This is a two (2) year, four (4) semester program, and a successfully admitted candidate will commence activities or lectures in the month of May 2024 leading to the award of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing, Midwifery, and Public Health by the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) in the month of November 2026.
Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be a registered female nurse (RN) or a registered midwife (RM) with a current practicing license and possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with at least five (5) credits (at no more than two (2) sittings) in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English language , and Physics. The candidate(s) presenting NABTEB results will not be allowed to combine it with any other results. This is because if candidates will use NABTEB, he/she will have all the required credits in it.
Method of Application
All interested candidates should log in to the College portal, www.colnursingscigombe.ng to make payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (#20,000) excluding e-service charges (charges for a service provider, Remita, and ICT/business center charges, etc) through Remita platform and obtain the form at the College ICT unit or business center.
Applicants must attach the following documents to their completed forms:
- Two (2) certified recent passport-size photographs
- Photocopies of all credentials including primary and secondary school certificates/browsed results.
- Photocopy of receipt of purchase form.
- Local Government indigene certificate and declaration of age or birth certificate.
- Notification of Registration as Registered Nurse (RN) or Midwife (RM) with current practicing license.
Commencement And Closing Dates For The Sales Of Application Forms
The sales of admission forms for the 2024/2025 academic session start on Monday 29th April 2024, and end on Wednesday 8th May 2024. The closing date for the submission of the completed form is on Friday, 10th of May. Candidates should note that there will be no date for the extension of sales of application forms.
