Dear Sir/Madam,

SEPTEMBER 2024 PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION FOR MIDWIVES- OPENING OF THE EXAMINATION PORTAL

I am directed to inform you that the Council’s Examination portal is opened from 19th July – 2nd August, 2024 for all your eligible candidates for September 2024 Professional Examination for Midwives to complete the online application for the examination including payment.

Please note that all your eligible student’s Exams application and payment of the examination fee MUST be completed within this same period.

However, on the payment process, all Examination fees should be generated and paid on the same platform as a single payment per applicant through REMITA. Kindly note that applicant’s exams fees depend on the type of Exams (Basic or Post Basic) and number of paper(s) the applicant is writing, but this will be generated on the exams portal when payment process is initiated

Please note that Exams fees displayed on the portal exclude bank charges which depends on the payment channel (i. e. internet banking, ATM, Bank teller) used to initiate payment by the applicant. Council advises use of ATM card (Debit card) to complete the payment process as this channel has advantage of being confirmed instantly on the portal but ensure you copy and save the RRR number before completing the payment. KINDLY NOTE THAT ALL EXAMS APPLICATIONS NOT PAID FOR ON THE EXAMS PORTAL WITHIN 72 HOURS OF INITIATING SUCH APPLICATIONS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DELETED ON THE PORTAL. Furthermore, bulk payment on remita is not acceptable for Examination fees. All exams’ fees must be paid by the applicant individually (after successful exams application and clearance obtained from the school) on the examination portal.

After successful payment of Exams fees, payment confirmation must be done on the portal using the RRR number used to pay on this link https://portal.nmcn.gov.ng/Support/remitavalidation after which a covering letter stating the names, index number and REMITA RRR number of the candidates in a table that have applied and paid for online Examination application should be sent to info@nmcn.gov.ng, exams@nmcn.gov.ng and oafilade@nmcn.gov.ng immediately by the head of the institution.

You are expected to pass this information to all your students and guide them properly to ensure that they initiate the right application on the portal. Your cooperation is essential to achieve this please.
