The summary of the results is as follows:
Summary of the results indicated that twelve thousand, four hundred seventy-seven (12,477) candidates were successful representing 87% with the breakdown as follows:
Results Of General Nursing Programmes
- The General Nursing Programme: It seems like this set did well in terms of successful candidates which is Nine thousand and six (9,006) candidates were successful in the exams representing 90% pass.
- Post-Basic Nursing Programme: A total of one thousand, nine hundred and twenty one (1,921) candidates were successful in the examination representing 86% pass.
- Refresher Programme: The Refresher Programme is Forty eight (48) candidates were successful representing 68% pass.
- Foreign Trained Nurses: Two Hundred and Ninety (290) candidates that sat for the examination for Foreign Trained Nurses were successful representing 65% pass.
- Public Health Nursing Programme: The Public Health Nursing Programme had successful candidates of (637) representing 89% pass.
- Community Nursing Programme: Six hundred and sixty nine (669) candidates were successful representing 83% pass.
- Dental Oral-Health Nursing Programme: Twenty-five (25) candidates were successful representing 78% pass.
- Neonatal Nursing Programme: Thirty- five (35) candidates were successful representing 100% pass.
- Nephrology Nursing Programme: Seventy-four (74) candidates were successful representing 81% pass.
How To Accessing the Results
- The Council has directed the heads of the training institutions to check the results of their institutions online from Monday, 13th May 2024
- Successful candidates are advised to visit the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria portal (https://portal.nmcn.giv.ng) to apply online for Registration and Licensing immediately.
- Candidates are to note that online registration formalities including payment of the registration fee are to be completed within ninety (90) days. Also, note that late registration attracts a penalty of (16,250) only per applicant after ninety (90) days. Additionally, a penalty fee of (6,562.00) only will be charged per year in default of the first licensing.
- The next Professional Examination in General /Post-Basic Nursing is scheduled to be held from Tuesday 5th- Friday 8th November 2024
- The Council has directed the heads of the training institutions to send statistics using the Examination Application Checklist (EAC) for the November Professional Examination to exams@nmcn.gov.ng on or before 30th July. EAC received after this day will be outrightly rejected.
- Please acknowledge the receipt of the results and contact the Registrar/CEO immediately for rectification of any error. Council will not entertain any complaint after 30 days of release of results.
- All correspondence should be addressed to the Registrar/CEO of the Nursing and Midwifery Council Of Nigeria, Headquarters Office, Plot 713, Cadastral Zone, Life Camp, Abuja.
